The Instructors:
Head Golf Professional - Mitch Bos, PGA Member
Mitch graduated from Ferris State University with a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Professional Golf Management. He has been a PGA Member since 2001 and was previously employed at The Holland Country Club before joining Bucks Run in March of 2001.
Instructor - Dick Horgan - PGA Member
Dick is a lifetime member of the PGA and has a wealth of knowledge from 37 years of teaching and competing at both a PGA tour level and in Michigan PGA events. His accomplishments include: PGA Tour 1977, 1978; Played in the 1979 US Open; NCAA All-American 1971; CMU Hall of Fame (Golf) Inducted in 2005; State Assistants Champion; State Pro-Pro Champion; 2nd Michigan Open and Michigan PGA.

Playing Lesson
This type of lesson involves instruction throughout the course of a 9 hole round of golf incorporating playing conditions with instruction. We will focus on playing smart golf, course management, pre shot routine, mental approach, shots from uneven lies, and specialty shots. By being on the course during an actual round, the golf professional can analyze your on course swing, which can be quite different than your range golf swing.
PRICE: $95 includes 2 hours of on-course instruction. Add $25 per person up to three to make a four-some.
Special ClinicsCorporate - Group Clinic
Looking for something different to package with your golf outing? Try one of our corporate clinics, they are a great way to add value and knowledge to your next golf outing. They can also be used on their own if you don't have the time for a golf outing. Each clinic is available in a 1, 2, or 3 hour session and can be on any of the following topics: Full Swing, Short Game, Hitting Longer Drives, Eliminate Your Slice, Hitting a Fade and a Draw, 10 Worst Course Strategy Errors or Choose Your Own Topic. Each clinic will have a combination of instruction and range hitting.
PRICE: $100 per hour per PGA Instructor.
INSTRUCTIONAL PACKAGES
Head Golf Professional Mitch Bos will be the primary instructor for these Instructional Packages, which are new for the 2008 season. This packages are designed with value and flexibility in mind; with the goal for each package to improve your game and increase your enjoyment of the game. These packages can be pre-purchased and make great gifts!
Short Game Package
This package focuses on the short game and includes two (2) 30-minute instructional sessions. One session will focus on putting; while the other session will focus on chipping-pitching. Getting up and down more often while around the greens is a must if you want to lower your score. PRICE- $55.00
Game Improvement Package
This package covers all aspects of your game throughout three (3) 45-minute sessions. One session will focus on the full-swing (tee shots and approach shots), one session will focus on the short game, and one session will focus on bunker play and trouble shots. This package is a great way to improve or tune up your overall game. PRICE - $95.00
Beginners Package
This package is perfect for the person who wants to take up the game of golf or has played a little bit but really wants to get more into it. This package includes three (3) 45-minute instructional sessions, one (1) 30-minute orientation session focusing on course etiquette, and the rules of golf book. Throughout the sessions you will learn the fundamentals of a good golf swing, the basics for a good short game, and proper golf course etiquette. PRICE - $120.00
Lucky Seven Package
This package includes seven (7) 45-minute sessions, and allows you great flexibility to work on any and/or every aspect of your game. We can also set up a personalized instruction plan for you throughout the season. This is perfect for the golfer who wants to break through to that next level, whether its breaking 80, 90, or 100. PRICE - $200.00
